The Cat Doctor Feline Medical Center maintains a compassionate, cat-loving staff, while providing the very finest in feline veterinary medicine in a quiet and caring environment.

MODERN FACILITIES

The Cat Doctor Feline Medical Center is comprised of a modern hospital, surgical unit, radiology department and on-site laboratory.  

We emphasize preventive care whenever possible to ensure a happy, healthy and long life for your cat. We offer physical examination, vaccinations, parasite prevention, geriatric health care programs for older cats, feline dentistry, and nutritional counseling services.

We also offer spay and neuter and laser therapy services. 

FELINE VETERINARY SURGERY

We utilize state-of-the-art surgical techniques should your cat require a surgical procedure. We offer a full range of soft tissue surgeries from routine spays and neuters to more advanced procedures.  We also utilize laser surgery to help your cat recover faster and with less pain than traditional surgical methods.  We also offer comprehensive pain management to ensure that your cat will be as comfortable as possible. 

Our EKG and Pulse Oximetry equipment can monitor your cat's heart rate and vital signs to better determine how well your cat is responding to treatment during surgical procedures.

DIGITAL RADIOLOGY 

Digital X-rays of your pet are taken normally, however instead of using film and chemicals, as in the past, we can now process your pet's X-ray directly onto our computer screen using digital technology. 

Digital X-rays produce a much better quality X-ray image, giving us a much clearer image of the bones and soft tissue. Digital X-ray allows us to see far more detail than we ever could before on a standard x-ray, making diagnosis of particular problems much quicker and easier.

ON-SITE LABORATORY 

At The Cat Doctor Feline Medical Center, our on-site laboratory allows us to perform diagnostic lab testing to help us determine the best treatment plan for your cat's medical condition. In most cases, your cat's laboratory results will be available the same day.  Results can be shared to help you and your Veterinarian determine treatment options available for your cat's health care needs. 

ULTRASOUND 

We also offer advanced color doppler ultrasound technology to help us diagnose your cat's medical condition without the trauma of invasive exploratory surgery. Ultrasound imaging can give us a clear and precise format from which to determine the most effective treatment options for your feline friend.

MICROCHIP YOUR CAT

Every day a beloved family cat is lost. Tragically, most never make it back home because their owners didn't identify them. The MicroChip is the professional way to identify your cat and is proven safe and effective. A tiny MicroChip that contains a personal identification number distinguishes your cat as a special member of your family. The MicroChip is so tiny that it fits through a hypodermic needle. Just like a vaccination, it is injected under the skin of your cat where it remains safely for life. This inexpensive procedure can be done anytime and protects virtually any cat in your household. 

NUTRITIONAL ADVICE - WE CARRY ROYAL CANIN AND PURINA VETERINARY FELINE DIETS

Some cats require special food, and all cats benefit from a balanced diet. Our trained and certified staff is available to help you choose the right diet for your cat to keep him or her happy, healthy and active.

Whether your cat is fighting a weight problem or requires a special diet in conjunction with health care management and treatment, our Staff will counsel you on the many nutritional options that are available to cat owners including prescription diet products.

BEHAVIORAL COUNSELING

Is your feline sometimes out of control? We'll help you identify the problem and find the solutions to your cat's behavioral problems. We also offer Senior Care and counseling for older cats and hospice options for cats in need of extended constant care.

FELINE DENTISTRY

We perform in-house surgeries and dental procedures using state-of-the-art technology to ensure your pet receives the best veterinary dental care available. Our dental services include complete digital dental x-rays, teeth cleaning and polishing, tooth extractions and minor oral surgery.  All cats receive a complete dental scaling with hand scaling below the gum line, and tooth polishing. Dental home care is the single most important aspect of regular dental care. With proper home care, your pet may not need that six month dentistry, thus saving you the expense and your pet the extra anesthetic.

BOARDING & GROOMING 

Board your feline friends with us; choose between a beautiful cat townhouses or choose a suite perfect for multiple cat households. Grooming services also available.
